Tuscon, Arizona- The Ryan Racing Team unveiled their newest cars to fans in Tuscon Arizona for their opening night at the D Shaped Monster. The team unveiled that Independence Home Remodeling would be jumping on board and sponsoring the team for the 2009 Racing season. The sponsorship package supported a new car and various other expenses to support the team through out the season. Kelley Ryan will be fielding this car for the 2009 season and had to much to say. "I'm really happy with this car and am confident that it will be really strong and eventually a front runner through the season. We have alot of work to do to get it there but the car certainly has the potential." The team is very excited for the 2009 season and looks foward to seeing some awesome results!

Opening night at USA Raceway Park was one of excitement. The huge D Shaped track had a new layer of clay that fielded lots of racing action and had the cars at top speed. The night opened up and the team made it through their hot lap session. Both drivers commented that the track was awesome to drive and a blast. They were both very confident that they would have good results in their heat race.

Mike and Kelley both started in the same heat. Kelley was quickly faced with an unfortunate motor problem that put him out of contention for the night. Mike held onto third position throughout the heat race. The main was quick and provided lots of action. Mike came home with a 5th place finish and the team looks foward to their next race in two weeks at Canyon Speedway!
