In the end, Michigan was a good weekend for Denny Hamlin. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver rallied from a 33rd-place starting position to finish second Sunday, moving up three positions in the standings and further solidifying his position in NASCAR's Chase field.

The new #00 Modlite Phoenix, Arizona- This weekend will mark the beginning of the 2009 season for the team as they make their first practice in the rebuilt #00 Modlite. The off-season was long and expensive as the team put in extensive hours on the modlite after Kelley's brutual crash into the wall at the famed Manzanita Speedway.

The team straightened the frame, fabricated part of the front clip, and replaced many parts. About 80% of the heims were replaced and a completely new Crutchfield Racing front end was put into the car to allow for for suspension travel. The team also finally decked the car out with Chrome Racing wheels.

Mike Ryan will fielding the 00 modlite in this weekends Spring Training race. What will happen with Kelley's racing career? Stay tuned as the final decision and deals become finalized!
